NJ GMIS is currently seeking members to participate in panel discussions at TEC 2024, April 18, 2024 at The Palace at Somerset Park, Franklin Twp. We are looking for presentations that demonstrate cutting edge solutions, best practices or case studies in rapidly changing environments, all while navigating the tough political climate that often surrounds change in the public sector. We are specifically looking for presentations that cover the topics listed below.

  • Cybersecurity: Expertise in a cybersecurity issue of personal interest: AI recovery plans, incident response plans, brief response plans, log checking procedures, etc.
  • Electronic/Online Plan Review: Discuss tech issues or experience involved in setting up and managing a third party electronic/online plan review system (e.g., SDL, Mitchel-Humphreys, GovPilot, OpenGov)
  • Managing MS 365 in the cloud: Discuss the issues involved in managing MS 365 in the cloud
  • AI and local government: Discuss use cases of one of the generative AI applications in day-to-day activity. For example: AI applications for meeting minutes, RFP drafts, press releases, chatbots, etc.

If you or someone in your agency has experience in any of these items, we would love to have you be part of TEC 2024 and share that experience with your peers throughout the state.
